Inspired by Ray Bradbury, Nordic, Celtic, and English folklore, Latin American authors and all those who see magic in daily life. With a touch of philosophy and symbolism.

Peter Gončar is an internationally published author and poet, a member of Krakow Writers’ Group. He is the author of "Drops", "The Way" and other books for adults and children in the genres of magical realism and fantasy.

"My first "book" moment in life is something I don't even remember. My mother told me about it. It was when I was 3 or 4 years old. She came to pick me up from kindergarten and I was reading a book to the other kids of my group. So I already was a storyteller back then. Though later it took me time to realize this. But the world helped me to pave my way. There was (and is) an incredibly rich library in my parents house. There were frantic attempts to write something decent looking during my teenage years. I tried completely different jobs. And I lived in completely different cities: Saint Petersburg, Joensuu, Suzhou, Istanbul, Krakow, but all are places with their own magic.

In my life and work I crave to investigate this world and to look beyond it, to find and to perceive that mystery that is not visible to the eye, to break barriers between this world and otherworldly magical fantasies, and to share the beauty of feeling every single moment.

I welcome you to join this mysterious world.
